    How about you use a usb keyboard to see if this happens?

    Had that on my m6800 as well. Was solved with a BIOS update. But it took a while for that BIOS update to appear. Until then I played a bit with keyboard accessibility options where a repeat delay could be configured. That helped a bit to get along.

    So sad the next version starts with the same problem.

    USB3 ports on dock are still unstable on "heavy" load. Just tried several time to transfer 20gb data, and it stops after 5gb - reconnecting the dongle.

    ..... Oh wait, I found this:
    Dell Command | Power Manager
    Version: 2.1.0 ,A00
    Last Updated: 12 Mar 2016
    http://www.dell.com/support/home/us...510-workstation&languageCode=en&categoryId=UT

    Under Thermal Management it was set to Quiet, though it says Optimized is standard.
    I hope it works. It's no high fan noise, it's just running constantly when it first gets started. I'll report back.

    To me USB keyboard works properly, no repetition.

    For this keyboard issue there is no repeat delay setting that helps. As I wrote even disabling key repetition every few words, if you type fluently but even not too fast, you'll get some key firing two times.

    I really hope a BIOS update can fix the issue but in the meantime, I'm going to call Dell to change the keyboard, once per week until warranty expires, that might be a way to raise up Dell attention on this...

    Had problems with the UI settings as well, so I tweaked a bit in the registry. log off/on after applying. You can save the following as .reg-file and double click:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Response]
    "Last Valid Wait"=dword:0000012c
    "Last Valid Delay"=dword:0000012c
    "Last Valid Repeat"=dword:0000012c
    "Last BounceKey Setting"=dword:000001f4
    "Flags"="3"
    "DelayBeforeAcceptance"="5"
    "AutoRepeatRate"="50"
    "AutoRepeatDelay"="330"
    "BounceTime"="5"

    If I ordered a config with a 500 gb HDD, does it come with a 32 gb cache SSD like the XPS 15 does, or not?

    Thanks!

    Hi, is there anybody with a running Windows 7 System on a M.2 Samsung Pro (512) NVMe SSD with the actuall BIOS 01.01.19?
    I recieved my machine last week with this BIOS (on the 500 GB HDD) and Dell can't help me to get an older Version of the BIOS.
    With the .19 I can see the Samsung in the BIOS. At the next step when I want to install Win 7 (included Samsung NVMe Drivers) from a bootable USB Device (also shown in BIOS) I only get the message ""Hard Drive - Not installed".

    Thanks

    Sorry for my english, I'm from Germany.

    I'm thinking of getting a TB15 dock, and a U2715K 5K monitor. I know you need two cables to carry the 5K load when using display ports. However, it appears the TB-15 dock only has a single display port output. Is there a way to get this combo (precission 5510 + TB 15 dock + U2715K monitor) to deliver 5K on the monitor? Has anybody tried this?
