I can't turn on my Precision 5510 since yesterday. And it doesn't charge anymore when plugged... Does someone had the same problem. I was satisfied with it before, everything was fine...

What's the best method to add 2 external monitors to a 5510? I currently have once connected via the HDMI, but would like to add a second. Thanks!

    Hello,

I have some questions about de Precision 5510:
    - What chipset use with core i7 and Xeon E3? It's important because I need that the chipset have Intel Vt-d
    - Anyone knows if Precision 5510 is compatible with eGFX through thunderbolt 3?

Guys, whenever I'm on battery and the fan kicks in, it keeps running till I close the lid. I'm doing nothing demanding, and CPU might be around 3-5%... Any suggestions to quiet it down?

I've been using Dell's Command Power Management software recommended to me by user Aaron to select preset fan profiles. I have it set to performance now as I'm rendering. But I use some of the other profiles if fans get too noisy for my taste.

I also got the super annoying double key or repeating key issue. Even disabling key repetition in Windows, it happens.
I'm going to ask Dell to fix the issue changing the keyboard hoping it's not a failure in its hw design...

Apart using an external keyboard that I (still) don't take as an option, did you manage to solve the issue?

I still have this as well. I got one of the earlier systems (delivered in January), and the keyboard issue happens in Windows and Linux so it's not likely to be an issue in the operating system. I'm running the current BIOS version. I'm considering asking for a replacement keyboard but am not certain if this will solve it. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has had their repeat issues solvedd (I'll leave that double-key in there as an example of its frequency - it happens often enough that during the course of a normal email I need to fix one or two repeats).
