What if you stop extending the screen with Windows+P and then start extending it again? Does that wake the hdmi port back up?

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately this (along with power cycling the monitor as suggested previously) does not wake the port from its coma.

Hmmm. Same behavior on all power plans? Any NVIDIA power saving options somewhere to mess with maybe?

Am I the only one with unbearable slow Adobe Camera RAW and Photoshop? My old laptop was faster :(...

I've set Adobe Photoshop to use the M1000M GPU and to use the M1000M in the Nvidia settings on Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere and InDesign.

    M1000M drivers: 10.18.13.5894
    P530 drivers: 20.19.15.4331

On Windows 10 with the Xeon, 32gb, M1000M, 4K and M.2 disk. Connected to my TB3 dock.

Still having issues powering on my 5510 when it's connected to the TB3. I don't use screensplit, but it seems to help to open the laptop and press its power button. I can close the lid afterwards.

But boy scaling is a bi**h - undocking to 4K display, docking back to QHD. I need to login/out every time to get the stuff to look good again :(..... I could go with my laptop running for 14 days before, now I have to clean my desktop almost everyday to get a restart/fresh login. Very frustrating.

I've just tried to disable Windows 10 causing constant driver updates,
    http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/stop-automatic-driver-updates-windows-10

Hope this work! Cause I want to choose my owner drivers, and stick with them until i choose otherwise!

Update: (updated to latest Nvidia drivers, but can't get the performance profile in the Nvidia settings to stay on "high performance GPU" for Photoshop. It keeps changing back to integrated graphic card).

Thanks. Tried different power plans (incl. high perf) and confirmed nvidia power management set to high perf. I'm hoping a bios or intel 530 driver update in the future will magically fix...

I would like to confirm the Samsung NVMe driver (1.4.7.17) has resolved all of the BSOD crashes on my machine.

I continue to have issues with the dock, notably failure to boot when connected and failure to recognize (or pass thru) attached USB devices on resume from sleep.

One other issue is Logitech mouse erratic behavior when USB receiver plugged in on left side by power connector, works file when USB connected on right side. Have reverted to Blue Tooth mode which seems to function better than expected.

Did some more testing, drivers, reboots, settings and gave up. The day after I started again, but noticed the settings was stored; high performance gpu for photoshop, and high performance power settings.

Hoping for a BIOS update and Dock driver update to fix the reboot, hang, power on/off errors.

Hi All, I am looking at purchasing a 5510 with the Xeon processor, 1 TB 1TB PCIe NVMe and high performance 512 GB SSD, 32 GB .wth a 15.6" UltraSharp UHD IGZO(3840x2160) Touch Panel.
My concern is stability with Windows 10 vs WIndows 7.
My primary application will be very large photos and some software development.
Also general comments on keyboard and overall satisfaction. My previous unit was a dell m6700, nice, flexible, great screen but big
    Thanks

I would suggest you to buy 7510 instead of 5510.
If you can use windows 10 then just use it. It's better than windows 7.

Would you still have the part numbers handy for what they sent you ? I mistakenly ordered the large battery and would really prefer the additional drive.
