@z3n0mal4 I suppose you have solved the coil whine issue through bios update?

Also, keep updating your progress on the WWAN slot here, I wanna know, thanks :D

    @John Ratsey it's a Adata SP600 256GB.
@IAMdiscerning it's still doing it, noticed it's also when the screen is slot white (blank page, explorer)
Sadly i just left for a week and had to leave it home
Still hoping to find a way to make the ssd work

Thanks. The three pieces of advice in the E5470 thread were to (i) enable all the storage drives; (ii) enable WWAN; and (iii) make sure you are running AHCI and not RAID (which is Dell's default when shipped). I assume that your BIOS is up-to-date.

Note that Windows may get confused when you switch from RAID to AHCI. If this happens then you need to Google for the required registry entries to add before making the switch.

There's a small chance that the E5570 doesn't support an M.2 drive in the WWAN slot but I find this difficult to believe given that the E5470 and E5570 are sufficiently similar to use the same BIOS.

I've just noticed your other question about the display panel type. Moninfo will give detailed information but you can see the basic information in Device Manager > Monitor > Details > Hardware ID.

@John Ratsey i'm 100% it's set as Raid, as you say it's the default value. I just managed to upgrade to win10 before leaving, but once i get back home i'll do a clean install and change yo AHCI and also thinking chaning to UEFI.
I ran hwinfo and there was some LG listed as monitor, though i can't remember more now. And Thank You for all your help :)

The RAID -> AHCI switch should be quite simple. See here for the steps.

Hey @John Ratsey, I am wondering if a laptop could support a 2400 Mhz RAM? In this case could you tell me if E5570 will be able to support it?

Ehrm, personally I am not gonna do that but just out of curiosity to the claim of future proof?

Good question for which I'm not 100% sure of the answer. Intel's CPU specs mention only 2133MHz DDR4, but this listing for Kingston HyperX RAM states:
    1. HyperX DDR4 PnP memory will run in most DDR4 systems up to the speed allowed by the manufacturer's system BIOS. PnP cannot increase the system memory speed faster than is allowed by the manufacturer's BIOS.
    2. Memory overclocking is locked at 2133MHz on all mobile processors except Core i5 and i7 quad core processors with a TDP of 45W or greater.

If my E5570 didn't already come with 16GB RAM I would buy the HyperX kit. The comments in the listing above suggest that it works. I doubt if Dell would have locked the RAM speed in the BIOS.

Oh well, great research there. So it all depends on the manufacturer's BIOS then. Thanks!

    Hello guys,

I'm finally back and have followed the steps @John Ratsey told me to and i confirm that the SSD works with the E5570 in the WWAN port.

And i just now realised that my laptop is not FHD, as advertised and sold on my local retailer, it has a 1366x768 LGD04AF ... and i'm pissed and i'll call them on monday and see what i can do :/

That's a major deficiency. I'm surprised that you didn't notice it within a few minutes.
