Does anybody have some info and the webcams that dell started to equip with the E4200 recently? I am considering applying these as an upgrade with the swap of my notebook. They ask 70 euro's for the upgrade but having an integrated webcam with my notebook does offer additional functionality for me.

Does anyone want to sell a battery for a e4200? I'd like one that is flush with the unit.

Especially a full SSD still has these problems on windows 7 x64, our SSD's are not fitted with TRIM I guess thats the main reason.

Another question. I want to use the SSD of my E4200 in my server. Does anyone know what kind of power connector I need?

    Hi,

I got a Dell Latitude E4200 with a Samsung SSD PB22-JS3 TM 64GB drive. Does anyone know if its firmware can be upgraded to support TRIM in Windows 7? Current firmware version is VBM19D1Q. Seems like the version that support TRIM is VBM19C1Q. Doesnt that seem like a downgrade? I've had my notebook since October 2009 so I dont think it has TRIM support from the factory.

    Firmware location is here: http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/products/flash/ssd/2008/business/business.html

    Thanks,
    HMR.

I know this was brought up a long time ago....but I have a client with an E4200 that seems to have stuttering. I have an E4200 and I have another user at the same client with an E4200 with no stuttering issues.

What can I look for as far as difference in the drives? I saw something in some old posts about a Core V1 and Core V2. Where can I check that out?
