My first two E4200's had them (about 1.5-2" wide, about the same apart). The replacement screen on the first didn't and the third system I've got now is clean.

Want to buy an Outlet e4200, but None (of the ultra 64s) has both the Backlit and Bluetooth.

Backlit is no longer available to install separately at Dell or anywhere else I can find.
So buy a backlit and try aftermarket bluetooth I suppose.

What are my options for aftermarket installation of Bluetooth device (dell or not) on e4200?

Just the 365 Card? Or others?

Is the 365 card a dificult install requiring a holder not sold on ebay, etc, along with the card? etc

    thx

No idea. Used the system about 2 hours before the Adamo showed up. Just haven't had the time to take pics and get it posted up for sale.

I do remember that the one that I have allows you to see the backlight LEDs at the bottom of the screen if you look straight down at it. There was a post somewhere that told you which one that was (because I believe only one of the models is like that). I'd search for it but the search seems to be disabled at the moment...

    Thanks msj... but huh?

You're using a Bluetooth keyboard without a Bluetooth connection?

Are you able to use a Bluetooth mouse?

How does it receive the signal?

There was a Dell coupon around so Dell just Raised Latitude e4200 Outlet prices $50-$100. to offset it.

    Jerks.

I added Bluetooth to mine. Get the Truemobile 365 card. You will most likely need a Bluetooth holder though. I did not have the holder in mine. Call Dell Parts and Accessories. It was like $19. The Bluetooth radio can be had for about $20 on eBay.
