I kinda want to sell my T61p and get an ultraportableish laptop...13.3/14.1 looks promising.

It looks to me like the standard laptop keyboard, but with some space between the main part and the pageup/pagedown/home/end keys.

And reports are that the 14.1" notebook weighs in at 4.25 pounds. That's about a pound less than the 13" macbook.

I am trying to get some idea how long it might be before this is released, since this is the first leak that I know of about a new latitude series. Are new releases generally preceded by leaks about specs for weeks/months? or could this thing just show up on the dell website tomorrow?

What seems odd is I know some tech sites were testing the D630 with penryn processors about a month ago, and the D630 with penryn still hasn't been released yet. Why would Dell make penryn D630s if it is about to be replaced? hmmm....

Yeah... I don't believe this is real because I don't think they'd put a Macbook/Vaio style keyboard on their stodgy business line. In fact, the whole thing looks a bit too stylish for Latitude. I could believe they'd offer this... but I don't think they'd replace their main Latitudes with it.

Yes, any speculation as to when this might be released? The D630 pales in comparison, at least regarding looks and weight (if true).
