    So kind of an update
A way to get around optimus is to make sure to tick disable fullscreen optimizations in the program compatability options before launching the game, otherwise the fps will be locked, and in some cases it still is.
the other thing is that the card continues to use less tdp over time while under load. idk if this is a design of the card or the limit of the dell ec power through the bios. i am getting a hw programmer monday to hopefully look into this issue. i really dont know whats going on, but attached is a csv of me playing bo4 at ultra settings.

brightness isnt an issue as much as some other things. I want to thank @Danishblunt for his continued patience in helping me optimize and fix my issues. You rock man!

While this does work, there are some major caveats, and I have ceased this project due to those caveats and have purchased an aw 17 r1 from woodzstack. The caveats I saw was that the ec was causing a power limit issue, and that it is unusable with optimus disabled. The card was also never really utilized, despite the mediocre gpu. I can post benchmark scores if needed, but I dont have access to the laptop anymore for anyone else attempting this. Just use the p5000 section with this gpu and optimus enabled and you should be fine

A P4000 is incoming for my beloved Precision 7710 originally equipped with M4000M. Poor thing that P4000 is coming with HP vBios. I'm pretty sure it will work (at least with INF mod) but just to be sure can anyone provide a P4000 vBios from the Precision 7720 for me?
