    I think if you will mostly be on AC power, you should probably take the battery at about 40%, stick it in a sealed plastic bag and then leave it in the freezer. That's what I have learned to do but people will tell you all kinds of things about this stuff.

    Battery technology hasn't changed much since 2005 though so those tips are likely still valid (I haven't read the FAQ).

    i meant for like a day, i didn't mean like continually for a month or something to that effect.

    but if battery design hasn't really changed i might as well make the effort to take the battery out when it's charged and running on AC.

    I'm wondering why they went high-end on everything but then gave you only a 5400 rpm hard drive. Still, I paid nearly $1700 US for a t7300, 80gb 7200rpm hd, Vista Biz, 2gb ram, intell Wifi and integrated x3100 gfx with MS Office Small Biz, so you got a great deal!
