What program do you use to undervolt your cpu?
I have the same problem - fan is running all the time...

I'm getting 37C on full blast, so I guess I can live without undervolting.

Tell us this, though, how in the heck did you control an M4400 CPU?

I am not yet allowed to post the link so just search this forum for "The Undervolting Guide"

Please, post the link without the www. We know very well about the undervolting guide, it's not as simple for us.

I am running Vista Business 64 and had no problems with undervolting by following the steps in the guide.

I am not very knowledgeable about the technical details since this is only my second laptop to be undervolted. But the system is very stable so far.

Hmm, reason I ask is because I assume if you can undervolt, you can overclock as well...

In the software you used to underclock, did you see any options to overclock? Or does the underclocking sliders (or what have you) allow you to shoot above default to overclocking numbers? Screenshot would be highly appreciated.

I tried RMclock before, couldnt find anything allowing me to control FSB.

I am using RMClock as well and I didn't see anything anywhere to overclock the cpu.
Oh, and I didn't underclock. I undervolted. The cpu still runs at full speed when needed. It just uses less voltage to do so. That's probably what you meant anyway. ;)

RMClock does no provide any overclocking option.

Something else I can report with A09 + 65W PSU + E6400 (Intel graphics) is that the battery charge is also working OK (at least up to 20W).

PS: I had the attached interesting message when I resumed from hibernate this morning (ie the computer had been in hibernation). As for too hot, it's a rare thing for the CPU to reach 50C. I think I've seen this message once or twice before during the past three months, so there must be at least one remaining bug in the BIOS.
