Can you not buy off of ebay? Generally people have pictures that you can confirm.

Yeah, i bought the left one of ebay.. but i didn't noticed the difference between the cables..
And i also didn't know there was a difference in connectors.

So, it's just bad luck. Now i ordered the one with the right connector.
    I hope i can show you a 1600*900 screen in 2 weeks :p

At the same time i found out i had a connector for a backlit keyboard so i ordered also a keyboard with backlit.
I'll show you the pictures when it's arriving.

I think the backlit connector is standard. I switched out my keyboard too. Haven't made much use of the backlight, but the computer is definitely much shinier now.

Yeeh, i fixed it. I'm typing this with a 1600*900 screen and a backlit keyboard.
If you put the cable a bit thighty in the bezel, it'll fit fine!
Also i taped the webcam cable down as you recommended. No problem at all!!

    It's pretty nice upgrade.

The horizontal viewing angles are much better. You can go maybe about 60 degrees off center without problem.

The vertical angle is about the same. I find if you're a bit high then image warms a bit and if you're too low the image cools a bit.

Color accuracy is about the same, but contrast is also much better, so overall it's a big improvement over the stock screen.

Do you have a link to the bezel, screen and cable drawing and/or precise dimensions?
I am trying to find if Vostro 3450 has the same frame and parts to try this out, or to search further.

Any hint is welcome. Good job.

To this day horizontal 768 spec is a low on any system that is expected to be watched at for more than 15 minutes.
