Thats the same screen I have. Is red the dominate color now? High def images are simply breathtaking on my screen. Even though the machine is now new, its still an awesome laptop.

    Yes, the colors are warm.

It looks like everyone in this forum is impressed by the m6400 rgb screen. But compaire to my Dell Studio XPS, which suppose has a WLED screen, I'm not impressed by the Dell Precision M6400 screen. the white color of m6400 is not as white as studio xps, it has a little sepia tint. Is your screen the same?

It's because my Studio xps screen is good enough, or bucequs my M6400 screen has some problem? I dont know.

Simple answer to all color questions/problems

"Screen is great when you hardware calibrate".

Spend the money for a good hardware calibration puck and the associated software and you will really love this screen.

I checked my Dell 6400 with the dell diagnostic software, got a report of error code 5300:0D2B, with a msg: max brightness <=0

I don't know it's the probleme of witch component.

So I called dell support, they will send a tecnicel support person to replace some computer components in my computer. I don't know witch one will be replaced yet, maybe the motherbord & screen.

It's just a little wired for me that they still have componets to replace, the production of m6400's components should have stopped for a long wile, hope it's not rebushed component....

    Hello everyone

I have a Precision M6400 with a 17" WXGA + UltraSharp Display (1440x900), NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M Graphics with 512MB. Can I upgrade to WUXGA RGB LED, or WUXGA RGB LED E2E?

    Thanks ...
