There is a matte RGBLED option, it's the non Edge to Edge version which I believe are the majority of them. There are only a few E2E as it isn't a popular option (finding a decent viewing angle, RGBLED matte panel is pretty hard these days).

My Edge to Edge is SEC5443. My M6400 came with a WUXGA [LG] screen that was horrible. I called Dell and they replaced it next day with a Samsung screen. I purchased the Edge to Edge from a seller on Ebay as a complete lid assembly. The lid assembly is simply stunning and if your doesnt have it I would get one as its a fantastic deal.

So there are two kinds of RGB LED screen? the RGB LED screen of LG, and the RGB LED screen of Samsung?

And the Samsung one is better than LG? it's in general, or just in your case?

And I'd like to know that we can call Dell to change the screen just because we don't like the screen, even the screen has no problem?(I mean no dead pixel, just the colors are not good)
The Precision M6400 I've buy still in the warranty period

Yes,what I thought was, as all the E2E screens are RGBLED, and the seller told me the screen is glossy. So normorly it should be a RGBLED, am I right?

My original WUXGA was listed a True-life. The replacement from Dell [Samsung was waaay better than the LG it came with. I purchased the Edge to Edge RGB LED as an upgrade and its the nicest screen I have ever seen in my life. I think it was a very expensive option when the machine was new. So these are a fantastic deal @ $135.00. The only tiny flaw with my E2E is Red is the dominate color.

By the way, E2E RGBLED Assembly with Cables and Cover for $135.00 is really a great deal!

I'm in europe, here even a WLED without cable & cover cost this price

    Hi

I just receive my Precision, it's a E2E screen, the screen ID is SEC5443. But it looks yellow/sepia tint, do you have any ideal? Thanks

Update: Just installed the newest nvida driver, now the color is great!
