But yes - I don't suggest gaming with this thing on your lap as all the air intake vents are underneath.

Why don't you use the [edit] button? 3 posts in a row from one person looks strange ;)

I'm not really worried about heating problems. I haven't seen owners complaining about this issue.
Besides, if I will be using the SSD's insteade of 7200rpm regular drives should be somewhat cooler...

Maybe I have to wait for a week or so for some other options to show up on the canadian site.

Well, I just ordered mine yesterday. I got a 20% discount so I can spend that money on the SSD's. :)

I'm looking at SSDs now.... and I don't know what to get. As of now probably 2 x 120GB OCZ Vertex in RAID 0.

You must have some sort of supercharged cooling system. I get 80C on my latitude e6400, and it's graphics are pathetic.
My friend though has a loaded Covet and almost returned it when the GPU touched 90 while he ran Furmark and played GTA IV. Hmmm...maybe he had badly applied thermal paste? I'll get him to check...

Do they have the same cooling? (e6400 vs M6400)
    I think they are different.
Some people report different heating issues/temperatures based on Nvidia drivers they use.

No, the cooling system is not even close to being the same. It's 1 fan, but it's only a 14.1" notebook. I was just referring to the fact that for a mobile GPU to be at 70C while at load is...impressive. Especially one as powerful as the 3700M.

The drivers may certainly be an issue, but I'd be suprised if he didn't have the latest Dell ones.
