    It's not flawed. If you have the money and are willing to spend it, then there is no need to regret your decision. Everyone is different and I'm just stating that in general, most users will not require more than the 2720QM.

    im hoping in a year or two the prices of second hand quadcores come down so i can stick one into my m4600. that and the IPS screen are the two upgrades i really want.

    i do not have the opinion they are the same. the right side is obvious different in placement of the fan, optical notch, msata, ventilation holes. Dell manual is using the wrong or old model?

    yea you're right, there are some small differences.

    it could be because the one in the manual is prototype hardware.

    I am ready to order my M4600 but I have one thing constantly in my mind Firepro or Quadro 2000m?

    if you're using it for gaming or need a multi monitor setup (like if you are a trader), go with the firepro, if you are using it for CAD or CUDA accelerated applications go with the nvidia.

    In casual gaming I wont see any difference right? With the Quadro how many monitors can I have connected? Because I want it for CAD.

    yes, no difference in casual gaming. with quadro you can have up to 4 monitors with the dock, with the firepro you can have 5
