Yeah, it's at the max. No matter on battery or plugged in. It does dim if I lower the brightness setting. It's just alot dimmer than my m4500. I don't know if I should "just get used to it" or not.

@tom_bell Is it an IPS or WLED? The WLED is brighter than most other notebook displays.

When I look at the display in the BIOS is says 1980x1080 FHD, so I'm assuming it's the WLED. Any other way to tell?

That is odd. Even a crappy Dell Broadcom on the slowest 802.11b Router can do better than that... Check the configurations on the 6300N.

    Hello Experts,

i know that the answers to my question are just in this thread, but (how you can read), my english is bad and so i have to read long time, to find this answers.

Make this (strange?) "solid state drive mini card" sence? What type of SSD is it? It's an actually intel or an old modell?

With the IPS-Panel Optimus doesn't work. It's there a great difference to the standard-FH-Panel ?

What kind of RAM they are using? I want to order it with 2x4Gb and update it later. (or sould i take 2x2GB?)

and last question: Is it possible to open the Percision with one hand?

    thanks a lot,
    .martin

Replaced my LCD today, Had the Samsung and the replacement was the LG, seems brighter and no flicker at the top that i've seen so far. Replacing the LCD wasn't for the faint of heart.

Nope...the problem is outside the computer...seems a 7 year old cable modem isn't good enough anymore...

    EDIT:I don't know why...guess it's my modem, but I am getting a nearly 1Mbps upload speed, but only a 68k download...???????

Hope that new modem works, but my uni internet should be fine...it's hardwired...
