Has anyone poped out the keyboard and replaced the front two (secondary) RAM modules. I am thinking of keeping the 4 GB that come with it and adding another 8 GB in the front for a total of 12 GB. How hard is it to get all of the front parts off and what are some tips?

    Thanks

Anyone know when the M6600 is likely to appear in the Dell Outlet?

How does the M6600/M6400 feel to the touch? Is it smooth all over, or does it fell rough?

Is that how it is even around the screen area? Just like on the previous models?

    Thanks...

If you ordered a Dual core, the secondary RAM slots will not work for you. There will be a platic cover over the slots. Only work if you ordered Quad core.

Is the exterior shell metal or plastic ?
The picture looks like it is made of metal aluminum.

How about the palm rest... Plastic ?
