Thx for the test, both GPU seems to be +/- 5% in the test. I did not use professional application so I chose M5950. Are your RAMs 1600Mhz or 1333Mhz? Mine 1333. 8Gb is more than enough for me at the moment

I can't make 3DM 2011 to complete the test, that is why i did not include it here. It stopped responding at Physics test.

actually i love batteries that stick out. they make the laptop much more easy to carry when its running, also usually they have higher capacities. Who knows, with a protruding design, maybe they could have upped the 9 cell to a 12 cell?

but yea, it does not protrude. it goes under the left palmrest. one of the rubber feet are mounted on it

Has anyone else with the RGB LED display noticed really bad flickering at lower brightness levels? With brightness at 0 or 80-100%, I can't see any flickering, but at 10-50% it's very noticeable.

My RAM is 1600mhz. Strange that 3DM 2011 won't finish. Results are close though, should perform about the same for games.

I only have SC2 installed but I can run it on Ultra with no lag at all. Runs much smoother than on my dekstop :)

I think I see mine flickering as well, while on battery power. Can't plug it in at the moment.

Is this just because the brightness goes up? I.e. if you lower the brightness when plugged it, does it flicker?
