    A very lucky hit on Ebay, left a ridiculously low bid of 130 Euros, which included p&p to The Netherlands.
    Was never aware of the existence of a K2200M, until I noticed this thread.
    I believe however, that HP & Dell use different Vbios, so even if you could get your hands on it, it might not work.
    If you have a Radeon in your machine right now, I'd try to get my hands on a M5100, but the M4000 is also quite a capable card, which surprised me. (Both 1 & 2 Gb are being sold)
    The following figures are from my memory and are not completely actual, 3DMark03 scores;
    M5950: 24000
    M4000: 44000
    M5100: 52000
    This is in combination with a 2820QM and 4x2Gb 1333mhz memory.

    As you can see, a lot can already be gained by replacing the M5950 with the M4000.
    Am going to sell my M5950, M4000 and 2820QM shortly.
    M4000 is 1Gb GDDR5 version, 2820QM is OEM, no ES or QS.
    If you are to swap CPU a/o GPU, be sure to have latest Bios (A16) installed, prior to actual swap.

    I will let you know as soon as I receive it... it was confirmed to work in M4700 so I got one of those (from work) in case it does not work in the M4600 and will revert to M5100 or M4000 as suggested by RobNL73

    Thank you!!!

    How's the WiFi with the 7260AC? Does the BT from the card conflict with the Dell 380 or did you remove the Dell 380 BT Module and use the one from the 7260AC... Maybe i'll see if the new intel 17265ll be release in non M2 form factor...

    Hello, I'm happy that I found this community. I purchased a used m4600 and tried to optimize it for my usage. I removed the ati m5950 and gave the cpu a new thermal paste. Now the Laptop is running cooler with longer battery life and much less noise. Actually I could enable WiDi on the HD3000 with the correct driver. Unfortunately I recognized that the digital video outputs don't work with the HD3000 only. I get a vga signal but definitely no output via hdmi, dp or dvi (docking station). Since the m4600 was meant to be able to output video via the HD3000 with an Nvidia card and Optimus I'm a bit confused. Do you have an idea to solve that problem? Finally there are Latitudes with an HD3000 and hdmi, etc. Apart from that I could only imagine that the digital ports are only tethered to the external graphics slot? In terms of drivers I tried the standard windows 7 driver, the old intel driver from the dell website (2011) and the current intel driver (9.17) with no sucess.
