Thanks for the tip, but it seems to be about the only 256GB mSATA disk for sale in the UK.

What is maximum ram speed supported when the four slots are populated?

Max RAM speed does not depend of the number of sticks. Max is 16GB at 1600mhz (4x4GB) or 32GB at 1300mhz (4x8GB).

I've just fitted a Crucial M4-CT512M4SSD2 512GB SSD with latest 000F firmware as my only HDD running W7 Ult on a single large partition.

The (latest A11) BIOS only recognises the disk every other power up. I boot, the POST takes a while then it reports no boot device. If I press enter to reboot it does the same, if I power off with the power switch, wait a few secs and power on it will be recognised with no significant POST delay and boot. Once booted it operates with no problems.

Any idea why it does this?

I successfully upgraded the video card. From Quadro 1000M to firepro M4000 ( the same in M4700). If anyone is interested in doing the swap too feel free as it works fine.

I got the card today and have not played any games yet so I can't do any comparisons, but I guess the speed bump compared to my old quadro 1000M will be significant. Gpu-z reports odd readings, maybe it's just because this card is not supported yet . here is a screenshot:

I'd be interested to see how it performs if drivers aren't really made for it. How much was it? I've got the M5950 in mine and I'm curious what sort of performance difference I'd get. I know even the Quadro 2000M performs below the M5950 in raw performance but there have been a good number of ATI bugs I haven't enjoyed since I'm usually an Nvidia guy.
