I'm trying to order an m4500 with two hard drives:
    64gb minicard
    500gb 7200 rpm sata

But it won't let me - supposedly you have to get two SSD drives, can't mix and match SSD and regular disk. I'm working with my Dell Rep on it (she'll be talking to product management), but does anyone know if this is a real restriction or just a web site issue?
    TIA

It is definitely just a web site issue.

If the HD+ screen is RGB LED that'll sell me on the Dell. I'm debating between it and a Lenovo T series. I like that the Dell lets you mate a dual core with the 880 GPU but I need a great screen and have been waiting to see which offers it first. Please post as soon as any of you can confirm it being WLED or RGBLED.

The HD+ panel currently available is a WLED display, NOT a RGB LED display. It seems the description was wrong in some locations.

With the I7 820 I'm getting about 3:30 minutes, perhaps a touch more. Just got the thing yesterday...

That's not what my order summary says. (see attached image). I also called Dell to confirm, and that is what they said. My M4500 is coming with a 1600X900 RGB LED.

    Just sayin'.

My order says exactly the same thing (part 320-8844), but if you go back and look at your confirmation email I'll bet it does not have "RGB" in the LCD description. I definitely hope we are getting RGB LEDs, but there is some inconsistency somewhere in between the Dell web store and order system.

I spoke to a Dell rep today who told me that the RGB screen has been listed erroneously in parts of their system. She told me that the RGB screen is a fourth option in their system that's currently not available and not visible on their website.

I hope you guys will get what it says but her comments leave me wondering. She said it should be available at some unknown time in the future for ordering.
