the support tell me the monitor is rgb led but the seller guy no ... wled or rgb led ? ....nobody knows at 100%

 

Hey, everyone! Looks like I have one more question regarding he m4500.

What kind of battery life does this machine get with the 9 cell battery? A dell rep told me 9 hours with a lower brightness and web surfing but I highly doubt that's true.

 

Thats absurd, with the extreme processor I am seeing about 3-4 real world use, no major CPU or GPU use.

 

I have been way behind, too many PMs.

Here is the display tests using the new Spyder3 4.0 software with enhanced gamut support etc.

This is the 1920x1080 display.

Which video driver are all you m4500 owners using?
I've got the latest DELL approved driver installed but Windows update is telling me that there is a later driver avaliable along with the nvidia audio driver. Just wondering if anyone has pulled the trigger on it yet?

Wow...that's insane enough so to post this useless comment.

 

Those of you who have had your M4500s for a week or so should give those of us still waiting for our orders to ship some more tidbits to chew on. How do you like it so far? What are your impressions after using it for a week? What's good? Any regrets?

Honestly after using it and the M6500 aside from the slightly less robust graphics card in the M4500 I cannot tell the two apart in performance.

If you don't care about the RGB screen and having 2 2.5" hard disk slots the M4500 is really almost equal in a lot of ways for a lot less money.

 

FYI - I Couldn't get a clear answer about the SSD without a HD. Decided to just get the 250gb and will upgrade size later. I was able to use that 35% off code last week as well.
