I'm considering purchasing a M4500, but I really want the RGBLED display. Does anyone know if Dell is going to offer that as an option in the near future? I'm a photographer, and would love to work with this wide color gamut.

So I pulled the trigger and ordered an M4500. Estimated delivery date is 5/11. I'm very excited as my M1530 XPS is gasping for air with the photo editing I do.

I have a question. My order status lists the following for my display:

    • 320-8844 15.6" HD+ (1600 x 900) Wide View Anti-Glare RGB LED Display for M4500

My question is about the RGB LED designation. The Dell website doesn't show that as an option. But it is exactly what I want. Do you think it's a mistake? Does anybody have a way to check that part number?

    Thanks!
    Bruce

    Anyone have Precision ON -flash?
How does it work in reality? Can it be tweaked to do something else (I don't really have a clue of what)?
Can you check your e-mail while the machine is booting?

See the pictures of the E6410 and the review of it in the end of the first post:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=475324

It allows you to browse the web with Java, and flash support. View pictures, listen to music and check your email via, POP, IMAP and Exchange.

The flash version is very useful and quick now. The reader is basically worthless.

Just ordered - noticed that there was an instant savings, and after some web searching, found a 35% off coupon. These usually never work (usually have to spend days beating the price down with a cs rep...) but this time it did - saved $1300 off the price. Sadly - the coupon expired yesterday, and I just found this thread today, but before pulling the pin on a purchase, spend a few minutes searching for an appropriate coupon code...

My M4300 is on its last legs, needs a rebuild - too many bsods, some driver malfunction no doubt, but waiting arrival of the new computer.

Well, my M4500 order was listed as "shipped" today, so I should see it arrive here soon. :D
