It looks like it might fit and work, seems to have about the same dimensions (I don't know about thickness), but the question is: Is it the same electrical interface or not. It's a moot point for now as it seems the drive is being sold OEM only. But I'd love to have something bigger than 64GB in that mSATA slot.

where can we have those little drives in europe , i have an hp 8540w but so many issues that a refurb can be done and i'm relly looking at the precision with the eye of the predator !!

this double ssd option (as i have an intel alreday ) is a big plus but the offer i have comes with a regular drive , so i have to buy the small one on my own but where ???????????????????

I have ordered one from Lambdatek (UK) and was hoping to confirm it worked with the M4500 yesterday. Unfortunately the delivery driver was a dumb and took it firstly to the wrong house (25yds away) then took it back to the depot. Will report back today when it's redelivered after I gave them a slap over the phone.

It's changning all the while but I believe your options are Samsung 64gb (hard to come by), Intel 310 SSD 80gb, and the Renice 120gb offering. The Renice is Sandforce-based so ought to have the edge on the Intel drive.

    Link:

Renice Technology | Solid State Drive SSD

I decided to hedge my bets and stick with Intel, and I can use the same SSD Tools that I have installed for the X25 in the main drive bay. The Renice is probably fine, I just hadn't heard of them before, and have been bitten by unknown SSDs in the past.
