As a professional web developer who is checking the Dell site every day anxiously awaiting the small business coupons, I am amazed at how often Dell developers screw up the website. Last week they screwed up the radio buttons on the configuration page so that they wouldn't work with Firefox, and now this... Go figure.

 

i was so pissed off when it turned out there was a typo on the site....the vostro 1710 being listed as having a 8600GT DDR3.....it turned out to be a GS.

that was really annoying....i almost bought it.... had my heart set on it....oh well im happy with my m4400....but it cost a lot more!

 

The configuration page seems all cleaned up now, and back to normal.

 

by the way, what did you guys pay for your configurations?

mine is 2100EUR (before tax)

 

mine was 1803 before tax (which i can deduct ) What is your config then Gordon?

EXACTLY the configuration I'm planning on getting (with the exception of the 9-cell and the e-port plus). But I have to wait for a coupon... So I'm living vicariously through those of you who already have them.

 

the 9 cell bat was just to expensive, no sense for the price tag .)
in fact it would've been as cheaper to get a second 6 cell bat.

well for the coupon. would be nice, but as i've no clue when or how i could get one..
