Your temperature readings are normal for this laptop in a gaming environment. I would, however, suggest that you leave the screen opened even if it's not outputting anything. I think that a closed lid just keeps more heat from dissipating. You may also want to elevate the back of the laptop so that there is more air flow underneath it.

Heat is never a good thing for electronics. The cooler you keep things, the better they work. However, if you keep your vents clean and the airflow going, the laptop will most likely freeze or BSOD before it fries because of a game.

    Hope this info helps.

    Cheers.

    Photoshop CS5 Performance

    Hey "Owners" :D
I have installed Adobe PS CS5 yesterday. But i think the performance is not the best. If i open some pictures from the digicam and adjust some values its not so quick as i think it should. You know what i mean?

    Its a M4400/T9600(2,8GHz) with 8GB RAM / FX770
    latest nvidia driver and bios A22 / Win7 64-Bit & 64-Bit Photoshop

So i think that this FX770 graphic-card is perfect for AutoCAD or 3DsMax but not Photoshop?

Or its just a driver/program-option problem?

    #############EDIT#############

    Hey i found the solution!
In the options i uncheck the OpenGL support.
Now its much faster as before.

Thanks! I'm following the guide right now and I've only undervolted by .100v (the first step) and my cpu temps are down 4C and 8C respectively.

    Much appreciated!

So, I assume the Ray Tracer option instead?

    Hey UncleSpam
Thanks for your U2711 review ;)

The OpenGL is used for 3D Tools in Photoshop ( overlay / rotation ... )
I dont need this feature. And i hope nvidia will come with a ( performance ) driver for this 770FX.

Or maybe somebody else can check this problem.
    New File 640x480
    Tool: Brush
    Brushing the file :)

I had a little delay if the OpenGL Feature is checked.
Without this option its click and you see it immediately.

So i think its more a "construction card" as a photo editing card.

Nvidia already has a performance driver for the Quadro FX770.
I have been runnig it on my laptop for a while now.
It's fully CUDA enabled and runs like a charm.

Just point yourself to the NVidia website, locate your card on the driver search list and there you have it.

    Cheers.
    It's fully CU

When you install this, it creates shortcuts in your start menu with performance driver installers.
    Cheers
