My M4500 LG screen is poo compared to my samsung M4400 screen, it loves adding a pink tinge to every colour, if I can't sell my M4400 in the next week, I will probably send it back and keep the M4400.

@LPTP-LVR, Android heh?, no love for MS there buddy? still hanging on to my touch HD, but will probably buy an acer neotouch or something before MS mobile dies a "Kin' death with WP7, I seem to be one of the few who still see the benefit in using a stylus, the only hope for me is if a few more manufacturers decide to make models using windows embedded handheld like the one Motorola is proposing.

Have fun with your new toy, which I'm sure you are.

Ha, no i just love Android so far :D
Got FroYo running now and these things just get better and better.
I just ordered the Zalman ZM-NC2000 cooler for my M4400, with the temps we're having now the fan is on a LOT :(
Normally i don't mind that much but when i'm making music it's a real pain, i have a very decent monitor speaker set but with the constant fan noise i can't hear cap....enter the Zalman :D

Still quite happy with my SEC5443! I wonder what'll happen if certain parts fail in the next 6 months or so....you guys reckon they'll still have enough screens, mobo's and such lying around to replace everything? Especially with the screen i could see problems as the availability of the WUXGA is already crap as it is now......not that i would mind if they had to offer me a new model though ;)

my LG screen dosent have a pinkish tinge, it has a horrible yellowish tinge. seeing i cant stand the horrible yellow tinge on the screen i wonder if they'll replace it with the RGBLED version. getting it replaced with an M4500 would be a bit of a trade off for me...newer model but annoying 15.6" 16:9 screen.

@Weegie- i upgraded from my touch HD to the X10 and dont really miss anything except the excellent windows live client on the HD. Thought i'd miss the stylus input but that dint happen. The speed difference between the two is really obvious. Maybe you should try the HD2 if you want to stick with windows mobile.

I just purchased a Dell U2711 27" display. It should be arriving on Monday, 7/19.

I will connect it using a DisplayPort cable, E-Port Plus and the Flat Panel Monitor Stand.

Based on its size/weight it should hook-up just fine using the VESA 100mm x 100mm adapter.

its been a long time since i have posted here but i have a slight problem. My charger is slightly broken as the wiring is a bit loose which means that it needs to be a certain place to charge the laptop; btw this is my second charger. I was wondering what choices i really have in terms of replacement, whether to just get the official dell charger or whether there are any good replacement.

I've had my M4400 for almost 2 years. Today for the first time ever, I plugged in a Sandisk USB stick and a get a blink of the green LED on the stick and then nothing. I also have a Kingston USB stick that didn't do anything either (there is no LED on the Kingston). I put in an SD card in that slot (left front) and it seems to be working fine. I plugged both USB sticks into my desktop and they are working fine there. I'm running the A22 BIOS and have been for several weeks.

    Anyone else seen this?

    thanks Kevin

    Hey

Did anyone played CS:S on the M4400?
    At what video-settings?

    @UncleSpam
I have the Dell U2410 its a great display. I think u will love the U2711.
You just can connect it over the display-port cable. Over DVI you cannot use the full resolution 2.560 x 1.440. Maybe you can write some lines over the U2711. That would be great. :)

I've just found a death sub-pixel on my LCD (1440x900). It is visible only on black background since it is light green color. Is it the reason to ask Dell for replacement?
