I've never had an issue with Samsung SSDs. I probably have ten Samsung SSDs running in various systems between home and work. Samsung 970 Pro is 2-bit MLC and has a 5-year warranty.

(Yes, there is a small chance of issues with any piece of hardware and you should always have a backup solution in place. The only SSD that has ever failed on me was Intel. They honored the warranty and replaced it without hassle.)

You can install any M.2 2280 NVMe SSD. Intel does have some Optane drives in this category that will work. They're definitely on the expensive side with a low maximum capacity.

Is it possible to upgrade a video card in Precission 7740/7750? If I buy the 7750 configuration without a powerful video card, can I upgrade the video card in the future7

It is "possible" but sourcing the card can be difficult/expensive. Dell normally will not sell standalone GPU cards. You'll have to find them on eBay or some other such site.
    (Examples: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=precision+rtx+quadro+card)

If you think you might upgrade your GPU later, make sure that you order at least some low-end discrete GPU in the system. (Don't buy the system with Intel graphics only.) Otherwise you will have to source additional parts in addition to the video card itself — DGFF data connectors, GPU power cable, different heatsink, etc.

Sorry I'm a little confused by all of the technical intricacies here, do we have any news or estimates on the release dates of the 7750/7550? Will it be delayed by the virus or still released this month like the original leak said?

No telling. The systems have not been formally announced. All we have to go off of are the leaked slides which said May. That seemed a bit early to me... The last two iterations (7X30 and 7X40) saw the mobile CPUs become available in April, just like this year, but the systems weren't available to order until June. Nothing to do besides wait. Anyway, after the system becomes available to order, it will be another 2-3 weeks before systems start shipping out.

Thank you, do you think it's worth waiting based off the leaked details and the fact that there might be a price reduction for back to school sales when it is released? Also, is there any performance difference besides size between the 75x0 and the 77x0?

Probably not—the use case for these machines were never for school, anyway. You might see a sale pop up every now and then, as well as significant discounts in the Dell Outlet, but I don't think I've ever seen 'back to school' sales on Precisions.

Oh I didn't think of that, would you say then it's worth it for the specs upgrade?

Is it true that the price of 7750 will be even higher? I found information that the price of 7730 was $ 1,509 for the starting configuration. For the 7740, the starting price was $ 1,749. Accordingly, for 7750 the price should be about $ 1,900.

I've never seen the Precision systems go "on sale"... the business line doesn't follow so much with what you see from the consumer sales schedule (back to school, black Friday, etc.). They know that businesses generally just buy what they need when they need it, and that they also tend to order systems larger quantities, so it makes less sense to turn down profit from what people are going to buy anyway. Best you can hope for is for a decent coupon to show up and maybe knock 5% or so off of the system price, you might check other sites for those.

I've said other times up in the thread, the specs look like barely any improvement over the previous line, 7X40 series. NVIDIA GPU selection looks like it will be the same (at least at the high end) and 10th gen Comet Lake CPUs are barely any better than 9th gen Coffee Lake refresh CPUs. There could still be some things we don't know about. Improved display options could be a possibility there. Hopefully, in two weeks or so we will have more information.
