    That was indeed my impression from @Dell-Mano_G's comments (several pages back now). It's not battery life but power draw that was the reason for this decision.

    Dell has begun listing an eGPU enclosure and several desktop cards as add-on accessories to the 7730, including a P6000 for a whopping $6,760.94.

    Class 50 should have performance in line with a Samsung Pro but it will not be an actual Samsung Pro, that it a retail-only part. (Samsung makes OEM drives with similar performance but different model numbers, I'm not sure what the current ones are.)

    Not noisy at all. I was worried that the new vents on the side would make the system louder, but it is not the case. Really impressed with how well the system deals with heat and how quiet it is.

    Let's make it clear: when the fans are on - it is noisy!

    So it depends what processes you are running because when the fans are on it can get very noisy and also sometimes it produces some arrhythmic/strange noises...

    oh boy, have you ever tried the touch-pad from precision 55xx series?
    the touch-pad from 75xx is awful in my opinion
