The documentation is sort of lacking, but both the 7530 and 7730 support 3200MHz Dual Channel. Intel's documentation has also been odd lately. It looks like they are only showing JEDEC speeds and not XMP for their processors.

Is dual fans still considered innovative? Because large laptops from the late 90s had them...lol

You'd be surprised how many notebooks don't nowadays, and throttle as a result.

Lucky, mine is still set for Wednesday night. At least I won't have to be in charge of taking pictures or starting the owner's thread :D

This must be your first 7XXX Precision, is it? The touchpads aren't great... the 7510 taught me that. You can't even load Windows precision drivers since it's not using Synaptics or Elan drivers - it's an Alps touchpad. Clearly they do not budget much towards the touchpad on these machines. I suppose it makes sense when you figure most people use a mouse.

It's for this reason I went with the touchscreen this time around, though it will be a glossy mirror! :)

Yes, it my first 7 series

Problem: added 2x16GB hyperx RAM and 1TB 970 Pro - the system won't start, black screen, cannot enter BIOS

There is a led flickering 2 yellow and then 1 white light
