    I like it. good choices.
I'm looking for a similar config on the 7530.
I would be interested to know when those 32Gb RAM sticks will be available though...
Another question I have is: is there no touch screen display? At least on Italian web site it appears that every available option is a non touch one.

Click on my configuration (link above) - add it to basket, go to basket and select "Edit" - then you can change what you want, keeping UHD

Not up on the U.S. site yet :-\
[Edit] It shows up on the support site, though, so I'll poke around in the manual...

    [Edit 2]
7730 has a third regular USB port on the rear, something I greatly appreciate but don't remember seeing in previously released photos.

    [Edit 3]
Blah, like the 5000 series, it is now impossible to have both a high-capacity battery and a 2.5" drive installed...

    [Edit 4]
Will have to confirm in the system configurator, but from the photos in the service manual, it looks like you can install a M.2 drive in the 2.5" drive slot (with an interposer) even with a high-capacity battery installed. The interposer and M.2 drive are arranged at the very edge of the system. Only a full 2.5" drive would be blocked by the larger battery.

    [Edit 5]
    Heatsink assembly, http://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/precision-17-7730-laptop_service-manual2_en-us.pdf (page 72)
Only one heat pipe leading to each fan. Each contacts both the CPU and GPU.

Thanks. I chose a different hard drive earlier. It seems I can only choose "M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD Class 40" ... 256/ 512 / 1 for the UHD to work.

Not sure if this is a hardware/design limitation? Or simply screw up on the front-end/backend of the configuration page.

I think it's a screw up as I can see when you try to change config dell's configurator backend replies with http 500 (internal server error) It's pretty normal for dell though :)

Sven, why would you purchase a workstation and not get a discrete graphics card? I wouldn't do it. The UMA graphics don't have any ISV certs.

@Dell-Mano_G I want to purchase 2 x 7530 with i9 and only a discrete graphic too for VMs, 2D design and general computing.

Do you know when Ubuntu will be available for 7530 and 7730?
