If you were near me, I'd be glad to do it. Don't happen to be near Cincinnati do you? lol.

    Hi folks,

I bought my Dell Precision 7530 for my work. some weeks ago. Great machine!
Now I would like to use it also for my private things. Therefore I bought a Samsung 970 Pro SSD m.2 to build up a dual boot system.
So I installed the second SSD but I can’t installed Win10 because the SSD wasn’t found.
After formate the SSD via USB adapter the drive is now visible and usable as a second drive under my current windows system. But it isn’t still visible in my Uefi.
What can I do to set up a dual boot system on this machine?

    Thanks in advance.

I put two Samsung 970 PRO SSD M.2 into my new 7730 last month. The only thing I had to do was go into BIOS and ensure that the drive bays were enabled. Have you tried that?

Yes, all 4 Drive bays are enabled by default.

I remember having to toggle the bays to get the drives to show up. Maybe try that?

To clarify: I meant toggle the settings for each bay in BIOS.

    Okay, thanks for this hint.
You mean switch off and on again?!
Will try later and let you know if it worked or not.

Yep, I remember quirky behavior with that. I think I switched off, rebooted, switched on, rebooted and something in the sequence caused the drive to appear when it didn't at the start. I don't know if something in that sequence helped, but I did get both drives working properly after that.

Do you have the disk controller mode set to RAID in the BIOS (instead of AHCI)? (Note --- This is the default configuration even if you do not have any RAID arrays defined.)
If you do, you may need to load the Intel Rapid Storage "F6 floppy" drivers, from the Windows 10 setup environment, before you can see the drive to install Windows on.

Can anyone confirm whether an Oculus Rift will work on the 7730 with a Quadro 4200? I've been searching for quite some time and haven't been able to find a concise answer. Hope someone here can help! My other option is getting an Alienware 17 R5 with the GTX 1080, but I think I'd much rather have a Precision. I've got an M4700 now and it has treated me very well.
Also, seeing from the comments here, it looks like the 5200 is definitely not worth the jump in price? Thanks!
