Has anyone tried dual 4k screens and the laptop screen? I am ordering one on Monday and want to confirm it will work. Looking at the M2000M for the GPU.

    Hello,

I see that the 7510 with TB/USB-C costs not more than without it.
Are there any disadvantages with the TB/USB-C models?
(if not, why would someone ever buy the version without it, now that its available?)

definately get it with TB3 USB-C . Good question why anyone would select without TB now that it is available. It was not an option at launch. Dell will probably make it standard sometime soon. It is optional now because they have mixed stock on hand, some having TB and some without (leftovers from launch). Once they sell out of the systems that do not have TB they will likely make it standard in the configurator.

Just got a 7510 ordered as my new work machine; we'll see if the IT guys actually get the specs I asked for right... but should be i7-6820HQ/32gb/256gb PCIe+500gb/4K screen/W5170M.

To give you guys an update: my return went smooth and $ back already, but I paid partially with an e-gift card. Would someone know those go back? I assume they are re-issued but is it automatically or do I need to call somewhere?

    TIA

Does anyone know how the 7510 does with RED raw 6k footage? What graphics card?

Pretty much a self-serving question, but might be good knowledge for others. I've been on the fence about getting another laptop workstation. My M4700 has served me well and I like the portability, but I HAD been wishing for more power. I know the 7510 is more powerful, and remains portable (obviously) but I'm curious if any of you think or know of Dell's intentions to support eGPU adapters in the future. What do you think the possibility of having a 7510 with TB3 and eventually (in hopefully the NEAR future) connecting something like the Razer Core with a Quadro card while at my desk through Thunderbolt, while still maintaining the portability on the go.
