Owners of the version with the Xeon e5-1535M v5 ... can you please comment on the temperatures that it reachs under very high load (stressing the CPU with prime95, cpuburn or something like that).

For how long is it able to run without throttling the cpu frequency?

Hi, I have a question on the 1080 touchscreen. I received my laptop today and it has light bleeding from the top right side when the background is dark or black. Is this normal? I thought these screen suppose to be high quality. Thanks

So far, 8 days after emailing Dell support, and they only replied to one email request, saying to call their technical support. They have completely ignored another ticket I opened because it also turns out they sent the laptop not built to the configuration that I specified.

The bleeding is not caused by the screen itself, but the bezel which put pressure on it in an uneven manner. If ou press on different location of the bezel, you'll see the bleeding "move"

    Hey Guys,
I program construction vehicle computers and PLC's in bright outdoor environments, Can anyone tell me how the screen brightness of the 7510 compares to the older M4600 or M4800?
Especially the new 7510 Touchscreen option?

Any feedback on the touchscreen performance would also be awesome!

    Thanks and Happy New Year!

Do you also have this? Does anyone else has this for the highest screen upgrade for the 1080p?

I just chatted with a Dell rep, "Thunderbolt for 7510 should be available within a week or so"

Can anyone confirm if the FN + Brightness, Keyboard, Volume, etc buttons produce an on screen display when pressed? We recently got a few of these at work and blew away the factory image but cannot figure out how to get the on screen display back. I'm starting to think maybe it never existed.

The Dell Feature Enhancement Pack used to make those work, which according to support has been replaced with Dell Command|Configure, but they don't seem to do the same thing.

Why would you use email for a support issue? Call their support number or use chat (my preference). Emails usually go into a pool, and if someone feels like responding to them then they might. I don't even email my mom because I know she might not get them. lol. Doesn't mean she don't care.

But seriously, I would talk or chat with them online in real-time.

I know in my old m6500 I had to install "Dell Control Point" packages before I could see onscreen indicators for brightness, volume and various other FN+ related button presses. In the newer precisions (7000 series) it is probably the "Dell Unifying Application" or one of the the "Dell Command" packages. That is just my guess.

The Dell Unifying Application seems to be for Logitech wireless mice/keyboards, and I've installed literally every Dell Command package available. I usually have trouble finding the right files because of how they are named, but this is crazy.
