Thanks. So the information in Owner's Manual is incorrect as it says Maximum memory 64 GB.

The systems originally had a 64GB cap because 32GB modules were not available. This changed once 32GB modules became available; Dell later added a 128GB option to the configuration selector thing that you go through when purchasing. This is sort of a recurring thing with Dell documentation; the manual is based on what was available at the time the systems originally were made available for purchase and is not updated as new, better memory modules become available.

Regarding the speed (2133 vs 2666), this is not something that many people have experimented with so you'll have to try and see what works and what doesn't. I recommend not trying to push much past what was available back in 2016/2017.

Anyone know why my 7510's touchscreen would stop working? (Win7 x64)

...and any tips to troubleshoot it?

Also, Device Manager shows the fingerprint reader, but apparently the unit doesn't have any original software loaded that can use it!

    Any feedback is welcome.

You need the Dell ControlVault software loaded in order to use the fingerprint reader. (You can get it from the Dell support site and look up your model, in the drivers section.) In Windows 7, you set it up in the "Biometrics" control panel, that will get you to a spot where you can fire off the Broadcom software for it. On Windows 8.1/10, you can use the OS's native biometrics support.

Yes, thanks - it's the Broadcom hardware device that I found in Device Manager...

Anyone care to comment on the touchscreen??

    Digitizer problem?

It still has ProSupport for another year I think...

So let's upgrade it to 128 GB RAM :) Actually thats good to hear, for now 64 MB is enough for our users, but you never know.
Regarding touchscreen - we had a similar problem on one of our 7510's. We went through the troubleshooting procedure https://www.dell.com/support/articl...ow-to-troubleshoot-touchscreen-issues?lang=en but it didn't help. Diagnostics didn't show anything. At the end they needed to replace it.

Sorry for the bit of offtopic, but I need some help. Would really appreciate if someone with m1000m video card on the 7510 dumps his vbios and attach it here. Or at least confirm whether this is the same vbios as this one: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/193489/193489 I am not really aware of any other Dell laptop with MXM M1000m video card, but I could be wrong of course.

    Thanks in advance!
