I'm not sure where you get your data, but they're the exact same chip, which support the same features.

That chip is an underclocked / undervolted (desktop) Radeon 7770, which subsequently was rebranded under several monikers (both desktop and mobile).

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_graphics_processing_units

Search for "640:40:16" on that page, and you'll find all its "disguises" ;) Well, except for the 14nm 400-series and up. Coincidence that they're all GCN 1st-gen, 28nm?

True it seems a rebranded and slightly increased clock rates but, negative at least if somebody can upload a screenshot, i mean m5100 only supports DX11 and well it says that the W5170M supports DX12, meaning that you can use it on games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, i can't activate it on the M5100 because it's graved. As you may know on desktop GPU who has enabled DX12 even the weakest RX460 which i have i can use the DX12 feature

I have a weird thing that i can't recover from sleep or if i close the lid, i remember having an HP that had that issue and a Dell Vostro with switchable graphics and it needed a modded driver.
But i don't know if its the same card, which i think that could be defective in some way because in the BIOS settings it's an unknown VGA card but it's a M5100, and on Windows it's just a Radeon R9 M200X and vendor says Dell.

You will never see it reported as an m5100.

Make a thread for that. This is not a troubleshooting thread.
