Durable? You are talking about the phone made of two sheets of glass, right? That one was not particularly durable for me (I cracked both the front and the back of mine, in two different incidents, and that's the only cracked screen I've ever had).

And still works great? I doubt it can run the latest iOS (which most apps require now) - my 6+ with a healthy battery struggles with the latest version (Android here I come...).

    You're so anti-progress - you're supposed to get an 8 or an X :rolleyes::D

iPhone 4 has metal wrapper around its glass.
I accidentally grabbed one for $30 on Ebay and I found it's better than plastic android phones.

Android phones under $100 are all made out of plastic no matter how new they are.

iPhone 4 is way more durable than them. It's a great example of what phone should become.
Its only 4 inch and it does it all. Steve Jobs is not a liar and he still deliver what he promised just like Michael Dell did for his M4600.

I bought five cheap android smartphones (2015-2017, Samsung, TracFone, Alcatel, Kyocera) for testing apps.. but none of them is better than iPhone 4 (2010).

IPhone 4 was garbage and couldn't stably run apps for me in 2013 let alone giving it a mention in 2018.

Apple or Android which ever camp your in the 4S was leaps and bounds better.

That being said i have I since then enjoyed the m7 one and am now on LG V20 dual Sim. IPhone 4 was what told me to 86 apples catalogue

    Don't misunderstand me.
I'm using iPhone 4 as an mp3 player & web browser, nothing else but it's better than newer low end or low-mid smartphones for that purpose.

For my personal use, I'm interested in getting Blackberry Motion. Blackberry finally created an android phone with good hardware design. It's a bit pricey but I want to try out of curiosity.

I have an mp3 player that is fully encased in metal

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N1WG5A0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use my phone or Tab 8 as web browsers if I am not within reach of my AW17 and/or m4600.

The issue I had was not with its form factor but its garbage OS not updating apps and crashing apps on the daily. I wouldnt trust an Iphone 4 to play through a full sound track before the app crashed.

My reasons for the LG v20 are decent camera, good DAC, and supports the basebands I plan to use (US and Korea potentially Hongkong or Japan)

If you like music and DAC, try to get this AK240 for $1200.

    https://www.amazon.com/Astell-Kern-...&ie=UTF8&qid=1518652322&sr=1-1&keywords=ak240

It's made out of full metal body, 256GB storage, microSD slot, dual DAC.
I think it's too overpriced.. I'm waiting for it to become $200. Maybe in 2020, people will start to sell it for $200.

V20 is great and V10 has the same sound quality.
V10 sells for $70 as used on Ebay. V10 sounds great.. I had it.

Cowon D is another great compact player option:

Nah, MP3 player is a backup now. My phone is great for that, got a bike mount for it and everything, with a case (for just the bike) and I have a extra battery + cradle.

Guys, let's try not to veer too far off topic, there's plenty of other places to discuss Apple vs Android :p

    Am I missing something?
    G3D Mark Rating
As of 16th of February 2018 - Higher results represent better performance
    Radeon RX 560
    4,490
    Quadro M1000M
    2,175
    FirePro M5100
    2,097

Doesn't look like a significant upgrade compared with the m5100... the M4700 doesn't have the same finicky nvidia compatibility as the M4600, so there are way more upgrade options for cheap.
