    Anyone here running Windows 10 on their m4600?

    I cant seem to find the driver for the Mass Storage controller, I know its the 02 Micro Card Reader but it fails to install. Anyone know of an appropriate method to install or alternative driver to resolve this?

    If not its ok I suppose, just knocking out some driver issues now that RAID is all set up

    @TheReciever

    I'm running Windows 10 for a long time on my M4600 without any issues on driver side. For mass storage device you probably need this driver: link

    Yep that is the one I used, errors out though.

    ERROR: File C:\Program Files(x86)\O2Micro\Oz600\MD\o2mdfw8x64.inf not found

    Ill try installing via the Device manager and see if that works

    Thanks or sharing though!

    Yeah, Device Manager should handle this. Here is how I'm installing all the drivers:
    • Download Driver Pack for Windows 7 in .cab format, unpack it and in Device Manager install all unknown devices using the folder with extracted drivers.
    • Download Intel Chipset Software Utility and install it.
    • Wireless drivers depends on what you are using. In my case, I have 3x3 AC Broadcom based adapter (AW-CB160H) and the best drivers so far are from Asus Rampage x99 mobo.
    • For AMD graphics I'm using FirePro drivers, coz the are super stable and I have better performance (Crimson sucks in both ways).

    Since a good few years ago, all that does is rename the "standard" device names in Device manager, and that's it - no actual driver files are used or installed (apart from whatever's built into Windows).

    Just saying, it's not an essential / functional step (imho) :)

    You're bit wrong. It's not just renaming, the drivers are fully functional and replace the system one (which work in compatibility mode and have features/performance/stability limitations). Same goes for default Windows High Definition Audio - yes, Windows drivers work. Just work. If you need better experience (lower latency, high quality) you definitely need to install a proper driver:)

    P.S. Never trust Windows build-in drivers.

    He's right... The Intel chipset INF package does basically nothing aside from changing the names that show up in device manager. It also changes the driver "company" and "date" so it looks like an Intel driver was installed... But if you check the file list ("Driver Details" button), depending on the device, you will see that it either loads no files at all (basically a non-functional, metadata-only driver), or it only loads the Microsoft built-in .sys file that came bundled with Windows (and that is updated along with Windows), not an Intel file. And since all a Windows driver really does is load a .sys file...

    I recall looking into the .inf files (remember when it was called the "Intel INF package"?) in the last few packages before it was all just a SetupChipset.exe, and apart from (new) names, there were no references to any (other) files. In fact, there were next to no .sys or .dll files included in the package (or none at all, can't quite remember that).

    <Later edit>

    Actually, i think i "hunted down" the temp folder that SetupChipset.exe makes, and extracts its contents into, and that's where i found .inf files, but nothing more. I could be wrong, but i remember at least attempting that :D

    I finally got around to flashing this modded M5100 BIOS today, and ran a few rounds of Valley in Extreme HD.

    First three runs were with the ram clocks @ 1350, and core @ 830 / 930 / 980, giving results of 568 / 627 / 624. That last run got a bit toasty, the gpu reached about 95C.

    I figured it would be as good an excuse as any to semi-disassemble my M4800 to repaste it. After that, i was pleasantly surprised.
    The following 975 / 1400 run only got to a "luke-warm" 85C, netting a score of 653.

    Next, i went to 1050 / 1400, but i must've started hitting some sort of power-limit (despite having it set in Trixx up to +50%) - core got up to 89C, but the result was the same 653.

    Did you edit / mod the bios further than valuxin did? And/or which version of Trixx did you use, and/or video driver, that let you alter the core voltage?

    Nope, I used w/e is available online for trixx.

    I used the application he uploaded here to make sure the voltage is what I set it to, like an older version of trixx that he tweaked.

    I also use 60W at 60% iirc on the vbios now. For my daily clocks I run 1000c/1400m but can easily run 1500m. You probably need to up the voltage on the card.

    85C is hot, I dont go above 75C on mine with overvolt and overclock. Even when I was running 1.2v my max I think was 80C.
