The driver page for the 7510 is up. (http://www.dell.com/support/home/us...t/product/precision-m7510-workstation/drivers)
(Also, FTP page that lists them all - http://ftp.dell.com/published/Pages/precision-m7510-workstation.html)

One interesting tidbit I noticed is that the same BIOS appears to be used for both the 7510 and 7710.
The Thunderbolt controller driver is in there even though we won't be seeing that for a while. :p
Checking for similarities between the 7510 and previous generation... Still using same freefall sensor and touchpad (or the drivers are the same anyway), but ControlVault seems to have received an upgrade.

    [Edit]
New "ControlVault2" drivers work with M4800, installing drivers newer than what was already there for ControlVault and the fingerprint reader. Everything seems functional.
New "ControlVault2" firmware does not work with M4800, it complains that it is the wrong device and doesn't have files for the update.

So looks like the memory is pretty limited for the 5510, tops out at 16Gb and only non-ECC. I thought there would be overclocked memory options along with ECC not to mention a 32 Gb option.

The XPS 15 supports 32GB with two 16GB DIMMs, so the 5510 will do as well. For ECC you need the Xeon processor if I recall correctly.

I agree but under the configuration options none of that is available, and I had the Xeon processor selected. Perhaps they'll add additional options in time.

    Thanks for the confirmation.
Just wondering, could you respond to the questions I've posted, #228, page 23?

It's got 2 RAM slots, and ECC comes with Xeon, but otherwise uses the same SO-DIMMs as the 7510 and 7710.

Dell-Mano_G: There seems to be a lot of inconsistency between the 7510 and 5510 configurators in both UK and US:
    - RAM options for the 5510 (for 2x SODIMMs) in the 5510 configurator as there are in the 7510 configurator - the UK is only offering 8GB Non-ECC RAM (as opposed to 16GB ECC (2x8GB) or 32GB Non-ECC (2x16GB) max RAM)
    - US has a 3-antenna screen option while UK only has a 2-antenna screen. 5510 has no other wifi option (e.g. with LTE) beyond the Intel junk.
    - Can the M.2 interposer for the 2nd drive be used on the 5510 as it is on the 7510?

Most likely true but a portion of it has to be blamed on the limitations of print: whatever's true or assumed true at the time. One reason we all now get our news from TV, and why newspapers aren't as popular as they used to be.
Not really a big deal for most users (since the world sees only 8 bit anyway), but critical for us content creators, video specialist, photographer and the like who need to know that the original product is at least color accurate.

I know all too well, hence why I moved off Apple years back to the old Elitebook 8740w and have stuck with the DC2 and Premiercolor units.
