I'm sure there's only two slots for RAM in there.

    Haha, true.

Regardless, 16GB should be more than enough for me.
I'm still using the old M4500 (i5) with only 4GB RAM and so far it's still running awesome with all the current games and apps.
I'm changing to M3800 because of heavier resource intensive workload.

The M3800 video, at 31 seconds, shows a cable being plugged in to what seems to be the side of the M3800.

The next few seconds show the M3800 in use with a wireless keyboard and a display, and seated on what would seem to be a dock (with some more cables protruding from behind, but lower than the rear of the M3800) - most clearly visible at the 36 second mark....

So, perhaps there is a docking option after all, but a new dock design that sits entirely under the laptop, unlike the current E-port port replicators?

If the docking option is present, and the Tweakers leak was wrong, I'm guessing the M3800 just became more attractive for some...

That's an awful lot of hope for a Mac spec notebook; the laws of physics are still in effect. Nevertheless, if its possible and if it happens, I'd think it was great!

Unfortunately as seen from the video, the M3800 doesn't have a Trackpointer. So no from me.
Will have to wait for the other models and also see with what Lenovo and HP will come up with theyr Mobile workstations.
Ill say, the day when those companies remove Trackpoint from their workstations, I am starting my own computer business. Or at-least order a custom made one from somewhere.

Same crappy shape as their consumer laptops... what's the point in having a top of the line laptop when it looks like their garbage consumer stuff? I'm betting the body is made out of plastic too.

The Precision should be distinct. Not look like the rank-and-file
