I ordered mine on 10th of Dec, and delivery was late again and again. I was told because of shortage of ATI card and RGB Led screen, it will takes until Feb. However I got my machine yesterday! I think you will get your laptop soon !:)

Around Christmas time there was a $1220 instant off discount for the Covet m6500 on pricegrabber.com. It is not available any more. When the link was clicked it would take you directly to Dells smalll business US online store for the m6500 covet with the instant 1220 already deducted from the build price.

So, maybe, we could excpect Dell to move on with the newest Intel 6300 card instead of the 5300, given of course that the new one doesn't conflict with the system (or their own software) as well.

I used the datacolor spyder 3 elite system which creates profiles for the internal monitor as well as the two external monitors.

Without controlpoint or nividia background software, all monitors still work fine.

I hope so, as that is the card really designed to work with the i7. According to the Microsoft and Intel sites, the 5300 is fully supported under Windows 7 64-bit but no mention on the 6300.

Both GFX cards support audio through the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter.
