That was actually one of the main reasons I RMA'd that machine.
Its like a total mirror in bright light namely florescent.

That's the reason why I vastly prefer matte screens.

BTW, it seems that Dell Studio 16 XPS end-to-end RGBLED is just a matte screen with a piece of glossy clear plastic over it.
Look at this thread, there are a couple of pics posted by user chrous25 (the second of them, although out of focus, is quite striking):

I'm wondering if a piece of glossy clear plastic can make the colours "brighter" and "more vibrant", as many supporters of glossy screens state! :p

just got my machine today from poland. Upload some testing images for your guys. and I also have some questions:
    1. I cant find the driver for Mass storage controller, have already installed the chipset and MATRIX-STORAGE-MANAGER.
    2. I installed Win7 64bit and laptop has 4g ddr3 1333, however the rated of RAM is only 5.9. As I know it should be over 7.
    3. How can I check the type number or manufacture info about the screen, through any software?
    4. I ordered the machine without OS, I dont know which driver is for touchpad(it should has light as M6400), cant find it on website.

    appreciate your answers...
