The fans of the computer are in the back. right? The computer has that heat with and without the platform anyway. But Im prettu sure it´s not working against the fans of the laptop. I have the NVIDIA quadro m3800 and i comes with a monitor of heat. I can see now that the 4 processors are from 67 to 72ºC of heat and they are working at from 0 to 30%.

Maybe it could be a problem with last flash version? I have notice this since the automatic update change to the new version.

I was just thinking that if the fans in the platform blow downward and suck air in from the top of the platform then they would be working against the fans on the laptop that are also trying to suck air in from right above the platform. You could try turning off or reversing the fans on the platform to see if you still get the issue.

Very normal. You would not see a thermal event until around 90c.

look like this adobe flash 10 could be the problem. After installing version 9, no more slow computer, but... a lot of crashes in flash webpages, so I can´t have both. Maybe it´s because windows 7 64bit? I have seen more people has that adobe flash problem.

Instead of using the useless built in "task manager" in Windows, download and use Process Explorer to isolate what's causing your issues.

    Process Explorer

This app will pinpoint the exact application or service that's causing your issues.

    Good luck.

That menu is under Battery Options on the lower right hand corner of your desktop (Taskbar). Click on it, go to More Power Options-> Change Advanced Power Settings

    Hope it helps.

Not sure why it wouldn't work for you. I use it on a daily basis.

If it's a virus, someone should notify Microsoft to stop providing the file for download from their own site.

    I'm thinking it's probably safe.
