    i swapped a video card from alienware
    and now when i starting notebook i have
    " intel management and security application error 207 - aborting"

    when i truing to start existing or new copy of windows 7 in some point i have STOP 0x0000005c

    any ideas?

    Enter the BIOS and disable all intel management and security stuff. See if that helps.

    btw card recognized in bios as unknown device and passed dell diagnosticks

    and optimus works

    Did you verify that the card is functional in some other laptop? Maybe it's not working..

    Also, as a last resort you might try to reset CMOS by disconnecting the CMOS battery (can't say where it's located on M6600; on M6400 it was on the bottom somewhere...

    i may be wrong : but probably 780m does not compatible with m6600

    i read on techinferno that 780 have some troubles with alienware r2 too due to vbios bug. and nvidia knows about that.

    may be when it will be fixed i try again.

    So, your card is from your Alienware laptop? IIRC, there was an A2 revision of the 780M so there were probably some changes.. Which variant is yours?

    @katmai: nice scores in that thread, especially when overclocked..
