The thing is we don't know if the connector match.

i just grab a pic of the m6600 MB and there is definitely more than 30pin. I think it is 44pin(count and numbered on the board).

    pull up a 2lane edp (y50) 30pin.

Well there is one way to figure it out. The non-soldered edp on earlier m6800 boards looks like of a normal size. What is interesting is if edp is available, then the rgbled might become possible with m6800, stock version. Is screen cover and hinges are mechanically compatible between m6700 and m6800?

    Hello guys.
Today I switched my i7-4600M processor with i7-4800MQ.
Till now I didn't get any errors.Thermal paste used Cooler Master X1 Extreme Fusion.Don't know why but Prime 95 is not getting the CPU above 2.7 GHz, while in gaming (Dying Light) it goes with Turbo Boost up to 3,6 GHz.
    Anyway some pics attached.

    My 4810MQ came with a 57W heatsink.

    Hi.
Is it possible to post some pictures of your heatsink to make some comparison (maybe you can measure with a calliper)?
With i7-4600M I could reach 95*C with prime 95, this also may do because the thermal paste is bad.
But with the current setup with prime 95 the i7-4800MQ runs at constant 2.7 GHz and max 82 *C and I don't know why and how to get it run at maximum 3.7 GHz (maybe someone could shed a light).
I shall post some screenshots later with both processors.

Well, right now I don't have plans for opening it, unless I'd like to re-paste cpu&gpu. With prime95 it stayed under 85C.

I think it depends on CPU core utilization. 3.7 GHz is when only using a single core. When all four cores are being utilized it probably won't go beyond the 2.7 GHz. I'm not certain but it may be related to that.

I need someone with the FirePro M6100 to verify something for me. None of the newer AMD drivers except the one on Dell's site work. I get corrupted graphics after reboot. This is after cleaning the drivers and even doing a fresh install of windows.

Even AMD's site has a driver listed for the Dell M6800 dated December 1st. This causes corrupted graphics also. Basically I can only use Dell's driver or Catalyst 14.9 or older. I've submitted a case through AMD months ago with no result. I just tested out the new ATI driver released (pre-release) today and it has the same problems.

Can anyone else verify this is happening to them?

what you mean by corrupt? I get wrong color(grayish on everything?) once or twice.

On My m6600 any driver work fine though.
