Use dell ones they work better with Enduro. Look onto previous pages if you encounter driver crashes.

Thanks! I note that there was a firmware update for the M6800 yesterday.

Should work I suppose. I was deciding whether to go for K5100M or GTX 980M. I got a HP K4100M which did not work on my M6800.

Any idea what kind of secondary HDD the m6800 supports?
I asking this because not all of them have the same thickness.

    Up to 9mm works fine.

500GB SSHD that comes with M6800 is 7MM but has 2mm spacer with it so you can securely mount any drive in quick release caddy.

Both 7mm and 9mm drives have screw holes in the same spot.

New issue popped up today... The touchpad is re enabling itself while typing.

3 years of 6600/6800 and I've never had it happen. It's happened 3x in the last hr.

After being terrorized by loud GPU fan on M6800 I've did some DIY work to silence it.
    0c
So I've picked up two fans on ebay - M6800 fan and M6600 fan (since M6600 works so much quieter) connector is different so i've soldered connector from M6800 to M6600 fan, cut out a bit of casing and plugged it in. Now my M6800 is much, much quieter than it wos - pretty much the same as M6600 while under load, and its running cooler - 30 minute of Heaven benchmark says my gpu is now howering around 70c while b4 modding it was around 80c.

Now I still have re-pasting to do.

I cant believe how much crappier fan they installed into M6800, at least they could have kept the same connectors...

Looking at getting M6800. Will it run two dell u3011 2560x1600 30 inch displays - dvi and displayport capable - at 10 bit resolution? Do I need the e-port plus dock for this?
    thanks

Either dock should be fine I believe, but yes a dock is needed to have more than 1 dp connection.

Howdy, crew! Is there any way to plug IPS RGB LED panel from m6700 into m6800?
    Thanks!
