It does not seem like 880m issue. I bet if i put back Quadro and warm it up over 75 degree CPU will throttle.

As to warranty transfer: I transferred the warranty for the M6600 without any problems a few months ago. It took Dell nearly a month to notify me of a successful transfer, though.

The new M6800 finally got here. It has a better screen than the 6600 and it calibrates with a colorimeter well. It is a bit lighter in weight. The interior of the chassis seems nicer with stamped labels for particular screws. Nice. The 1550 Broadcom WiFi doesn't behave well with my router, so I ordered a $30 Intel 7260 to replace it. UEFI Win 8.1 install went without a problem; quite unlike the installation on the M6600. :)

I haven't really messed with it as afterburner gives me trouble on my desktop from time to time and idk what other program to try. That said, I seem to remember someone trying it and having pretty good luck with it. If you give it a go, let me know what program(s) and settings you use and I might give it a go as well, even though most of my gaming has moved to the desktop.

Hmm. Did a bit more testing.

Seems like with K5100M the CPU does not throttle - had the GPU at about 80 degree for few minutes.

I guess on all not recognized by bios gfx card CPU will throttle - good thing that ThrottleStop helps.

EDIT: I was wrong. It throttles with K5100M too. No1 else noticed this?

I recently received a new M6800 with the 17.3" Premium, UltraSharp FHD (1920 x 1080) screen, and the color is terrible - extremely blue in color and not good at all for color accuracy. The 2 Dell 24" monitors I use look beautiful with it but working remotely will be a nightmare for color accuracy.

I've spent the day searching for good color profiles to try with it, and other than buying hardware to calibrate it on my own I'm stuck looking for one to download. Has anyone had luck with ICC profiles built for this screen?
