So do I and therefore I am looking forward to get in contact with a Dell reseller for an order. I already posted my preferred configuration but the reseller did not answer until now. I want a M6600 and because I can´t afford it with Quadro 4000M I will take one with the ATI graphics card. I already had a Dell Precision M90 workstation and it was the best notebook computer I have ever had.

    In which mode?
Battery or sector? Which supply strategy? (performance, normal, ultra performance, cool, extended battery life)?

My temps are really hot too on HWinfo. Wired360, tell me which mode you want me to test and I will give you my temperature reading in HWinfo

Search for this thread doesn't work very well so I'm going to post this question.

Does the RAID function have to be factory set for the M6600 or can I set it up later when I buy more drives?

Factory set with the RAID program standard. At least mine came with RAID standard although I got two different capacity drives right now that is set to non-RAID.

Talked to the technician, got no answer. (for the temps and the fan speed):(

Talked to another technician, again no answer plus he was a bit rude  . He just told me that if the diagnostics is not showing any errors the systems fine and asked me whether I wanted to return it or wanted a refund. He also said softwares (like HWinfo or others which I stated I was using to keep a check on the temps) don't matters to them the only thing that does is the diagnostics.

And the temps I'm getting at room temp 23c are (on power, settings on balanced) are -
    idle - 50-53c
    dvd video - 62-65c
non gaming max temps - 78-80c
gaming - around or above 85c

If your prints are too dark, your screen is too bright. These screens can go up to 300 nits of brightness. You should be editing photos around 120 nits - which is between 3-5 steps up from the lowest brightness setting.

What work would be involved in getting the machine to work with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M (Quadro 5010 equiv) in BIOS?
