Do you have the ability to switch to "Prefer maximum performance" on the Power Management mode in the NVIDIA Control Panel?

You have this with the GeForce.

I have a M6600 coming next week with a Quadro 4000M. I would return it if it can't be switched to use the Quadro especially on Power.

I do and I did just that, you can even right click on your software icon and pick the graphic card you want to use but for some reason Autodesk Revit and several softwares won't even detect the Quadro. Photoshop does though...

That is crazy for a $1000 card. I use 3ds Max mainly, but also many others.

I don't see how they can say these are certified, when one of the main components doesn't even engage.

I hope there is a fix soon. There is no reason to use this computer if the Quadro isn't engaging. We could get a laptop with the GTX 580M and be better off.

    Good luck to us all.

I ordered my m6600 a couple of days ago with the amd 8900. Is this is an issue with just the nvidia? I bought this machine for running Revit as well.

Have you defined a profile in the nVidia Control Panel?

My apps work like a charm, using both cards...

Anyone know why the Dell Client System Update v1.2.2 does not install?

PS. Thanks for all the keyboard responses :)

It was late the first time I opened it and after about an hr I had this sudden brain freeze staring at the keyboard wondering why I was confused. Then I realized I was okay but the keyboard wasn't!
