Ok, thanks for pointing that out. Actually I'd probably use keepass for all storage and portabilty, and Persona for ease where wanted.
    The KeePass also exports easily.

    Cool!

Cool. It also has web browser plugins for FF, Chrome, and IE. You can turn off the plugins, and or FP/PW prompts in the Persona software settings.

Adding a special bracket or the second drive reduces flex a lot.

Also making sure the center metal nub on the back of the keyboard is seated in the split plastic receptor that holds it too, otherwise it will just sit on top and have extra flex. At least that fixed mine when I had to remove it to put the track-pad ribbon cable in which Dell forgot.

I would personally guess that you'd be able to re-use the pads on your 3000m. I have no hard facts on this though, but if the layout of the GPUs are the same, it should work.

As mentioned, you should be able to reuse the existing GPU thermal pads for the memory and regulators, but you will need to re-paste the GPU. If you cannot reused the existing pads, I believe they range between 1.5 and 3.5mm in thickness.
I have seen approx. 10 pads used cut to size (8x10mm). The thinner ones go on the memory and the tick ones sit on the voltage regulators.

You can find some here: GPU CPU Thermal Gap Pad GoldPart Store store on eBay!

When I re did my toshiba I never found anything that was close to what was used at the factory. It was cut up sticks of gum.

I'll have to take a look at that ebay seller and order some to see how it compares to that stuff.

    Thanks for the link
